Information:
Wisps are aliens from another world. A power energy called Hyper-Go-Ons fills them and serves as their life force.
This energy can either be forcibly extracted by machines or temporarily absorbed by another when a wisp allows itself to be absorbed by another.

Each type of wisp is a different color and thus has a different type of Hyper-Go-On energy. When Sonic uses this power it transforms him into a different shape.

Pink wisps have one eye that is quick to slant in anger. Despite this seemingly harsh nature they are actually quite kind. These Wii-exclusive wisps transform Sonic into a spiky ball that can cling to walls and ceilings. This allows Sonic to climb walls and roll across the ceiling to get to new places.
